Find your way through the jungle to the end of the board, but be careful - your opponent takes the same path. Figure out how to outwit them!
Arrange all 70 tiles randomly in a rectangle of 7 by 10 tiles. Make sure their white side faces up.
Starting from the very bottom left corner, the first player flips 1 tile. The second player then flips one of the tiles next to it. The players take turns flipping tiles, making a “path” to the opposite side of the board - the rightmost top corner.
Every tile brings the player who flips it as many points as the strokes on it (i.e. 1-stroke tiles are 1 point and so on). If a player flips the final tile, they add an extra 20 points to their score, and the round ends. The players then write down their current score, return all the tiles with their white side facing up, shuffle them, and start a new round.
The round can end early if the players flip two 4-stroke tiles on the path. In that case, the player who flipped the second 4-stroke tile adds the combined score of all flipped tiles so far to his own score. A new round then begins.
If a player flips the “Gemji” tile, they add 10 extra points to their score.
The game ends when one of the players scores a total of 151 points.
